The course covers the internationally-accepted nomenclature that not only helps practitioners deal with international projects, but also with the diverse makeup of the modern enterprise.

Program Description

The course mimics the life cycle of a project, encouraging student-teacher interaction. Topics discussed during this course are divided into the five main Project Management Process Groups to help drive the PMI's processes within the nine knowledge areas. The course starts by examining the fundamental concepts and methodologies of project management. The project life cycle is broken into its basic elements and tools are used to elicit requirements during project initiation needed to create a Statement of Work (SOW). Then students will integrate all the concepts and tools to successfully monitor and control the project, ending with the proper process to close a project.
