Boca Campus Closing

ACTIVE

Effective Start Date: 04/09/2010 End Date: Current

Clarification in regards to the canceling of the Boca Campus.

  • All students coded as Boca are approved to get the ground rate for all online courses with the exception of ISM 5014 as the course was never offered at the Boca site and students would need to take this class online.
  • To be considered a Boca site student, a student should be coded Boca, and have taken multiple classes at the Boca location. A student who has taken one class at the Boca site is not considered a Boca site student.
  • Students who were accepted in the 201040 term forward are not eligible for the reduced rate in tuition for online classes.
  • Students who attended the Boca site will remain coded as Boca to indicate that they are eligible for the reduced rate in tuition for online classes. There were some students who had the campus code updated in Banner and their names can be found on a directory of students in the SBEAdvisor shared drive.
  • Students who were inactivated or suspended will not be granted approval to come back to the program at the ground rate and will have to select a different campus location if they are readmitted.

Effective Start Date: 04/07/2010 End Date: Current

The phase out of the Boca location is scheduled to be complete by the end of the Summer 2010 term; with no courses being offered in the Fall 2010 term and beyond. However, FIN5080 and MKT5070 will be offered at the Boca location in the upcoming Spring 2010 term; sequence II beginning April 16.

5090 and 5095 are scheduled to be offered Summer 2010.

Effective Start Date: 03/30/2010 End Date: Current

The Boca campus will begin phasing it's close out as of the Winter 2010 (201030) term. For those students who have had their classes canceled at the Boca site will receive their current rate of tuition if they choose to take classes online. There will be forthcoming information regarding their long term tuition rate coding.

The mass email notification that was sent out to TYCO and BOCA coded students.
