Requesting SHADEGR to be Updated ACTIVE
Effective Start Date:06/09/2009 End Date:Current
After some discussion with you all and Isa (Director of EPS), she has confirmed that we are ok to use the following terminology when working with emails to deqc to have information in SHADEGR updated. As you know specific words can mean many things. So when an advisor would ask for a record to be inactivated EPS took that as possibly removing the entire record, which may not have been the advisors intentions. So I worked out with Isa the correct verbiage we all would use when requesting anything from SHADEGR to be processed. When you email deqc please make sure you use the appropriate word below to process your request. The EPS staff has been provided with the same definitions below to make sure we are all on the same page. Withdraw: The advisor will use this terminology when the student is no longer seeking the degree in which they did take course work in. Remove: The advisor will use this terminology when the student never attempted this degree and no course work was ever taken. Update/correct: The advisor will use this terminology when the degree sequence showing in SHADEGR is not the correct one and needs to be updated with the correct information. (this usually happens when the advisor does not change the degree prior to the student registering, or the student did not inform the advisor prior to web registering). |
