Currently, donated sick time is submitted at various stages during a leave of absence for eligible employees. In an effort to make the leave of absence process more efficient, and eliminate errors we are now requiring that all donated sick time received for a leave of absence be presented when the leave begins, and is foreseeable. In the event of an emergency medical leave, donated sick leave time should be collected and forwarded to our office within 10 (ten) days of commencement of the leave. Donated sick leave time received after the begin date (or 10 (ten) day grace period for emergency leaves) of a leave of absence will not be processed.
