GDBA Transition to Office of Academic Advising Key Points
- Students will take courses in a cohort grouping, classes will be identified by Office of Academic Advising
- If a student needs a different course please consult with the Assistant Director of Graduate Advising to determine if an exemption can be made to allow a student to register for additional courses or if another course is needed.
- Are students permitted to take other CRN’s or courses? online? Do they need to have further information sent to them about Blackboard?
- Students should only register for the identified classes that I will provide to you each term. The program is being taught as a cohort/cluster so they will need to follow the course offerings provided to them. With the exception of those students who may have already taken a course identified as part of the curriculum. In that case I will make an adjustment to the schedule for the designated term for continuing students only.
- The only class that will be taken online will be MKTP 5005 as that is the only format it is offered in. As students will be taking the course online they will need to be informed of the blackboard tutorials.
- A student list for the program will be maintained on the SBE Evals shared drive. A report may be run via HSPortal however the list in the shared drive is the most up to date based on the information provided by the GDBA program coordinators in the Hudson Institute.
