Housing Request Regarding Active Student Status

When a student is moving out of housing they may submit a request to you to contact housing on their behalf regarding their pending inactive status. Depending on when grades will post please consider the following:

• Academic Suspension: If grades are not available by the deadline date set by housing we may be limited in the information that we can provide. Please have a discussion with your students if they contact you about this scenario. You may email housing to inform them that the student account is pending review for academic standing.
• Withdrawal: Please obtain written confirmation from the student about this scenario. So long as you have confirmation from the student that he or she will not attend NSU please email housing so that they are aware the student will not be attending NSU for the winter term and inactivate the record for the appropriate term.
• Graduating: If grades are not available by the deadline date set by housing we may be limited in the information that we can provide. We can inform housing of the dates that the classes will end for the student and pending the successful completion of the course in accordance to the academic standing criteria the student may meet the criteria to complete the program at the end of the fall term

Please send the emails to housing@nova.edu and CC reslife@nova.edu so that the Accounts Coordinator of Housing is aware of the Huizenga School Students
