Broward College may now be used as a standard for all Florida community colleges as well as lower division university courses. The community colleges include the following institutions; Brevard Community College, Daytona State College, Edison State College, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Hillsborough Community College, Indian River State College, Miami Dade College, Palm Beach Community College, Pasco Hernando Community College, Santa Fe College, Seminole Community College, St. Petersburg College, Tallahassee Community College and Valencia Community College.
If an advisor has a transcript from a community college (which some have converted to 4 year schools) and for the lower level courses at the four year Florida state schools he/she can look the course up for Broward College on the interface. If the course is there than it can be used. If the course is not there than a Transfer Credit Course Equivalency form would need to be supplies.
