A revised standard class meeting schedule has been approved by university leadership. The new class meeting template will be effective for Fall 2009 daytime undergraduate classes on the main campus (specific to Arts and Sciences, Business, and Education; Allied Health may also be added to the template).
Please plan courses using the agreed upon template; a copy is provided, below, for your use.
The primary changes in this new template include:
Class meeting lengths are not changed (for example, semester length classes meeting MWF will last 50 minutes per session). As a result, class start and stop times are changed. The total number of class meeting times is reduced; as a result, we will need to work collaboratively to use the full range of meeting times in order to maximize classroom space. Dr. Stephanie Brown and her staff will provide increased support in classroom scheduling and room optimization.
