Changing Cohort Code

• Advisors will make changes to all admitted students regardless if registered or not
• If prior to the start of a term – change is effective for the upcoming term
• If term has started – change is effective for the

following term not the current term

Student is changing campus prior to the start of the term they were admitted for (student admitted 200620, change taking place prior to start of 200620)

• Go to SGASADD

1. Type NSU ID
2. Type Term student was admitted
3. Next Block
4. Click Inactive Button
5. Type or Select Reason
6. Type New Cohort Code
7. Save

Student is changing campus prior to the start of the term that is not their admit term (student admitted 200620, change taking place during or after 200620 but prior to 200630)

• Go to SGASADD

1. Type NSU ID
2. Type Term change is to take effect
3. Next Block
4. Click Maintenance Button
5. Save
6. Roll back
7. Next block
8. Type Cohort Code
9. Next block
10. Save
