Curriculum Advising Program Planning (CAPP)

Advisors are to use the updated curriculum adjustment form supplied by the Office of the Registrar’s for processing curriculum adjustment request. New features:

  • Enrollment Processing Services (EPS) bar code for scanning the forms into the indexing system.
  • Apply to Area: Please indicate the specific area that the adjustment should apply to (i.e., Gen Ed, Music Major, Business Minor, Open Electives)
  • Other Exception: Use this section to change a specific program or area requirement.

For example: for requests to extend a program year limit, the Requirement field should indicate the current year limit for the program and the Exception field should indicate the number of years that should be allowed instead.

  • The Rationale section is optional depending on the program.
  • The Center Approval section now allows several individuals within each program to authorize the request as per each program’s approval process. As indicated on the form, the required signatures vary by program office. If you have not already communicated the approval process for your program/center to me or the approval process has changed, please do so immediately.

NOTE FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS ONLY: Due to launching CAPP to undergraduate students, the link to the CAPP Nova Transfer Course Correction Form has been removed from the Open Electives Area since students should not have access to this form.
